in 1953 by Osvaldo and Fulgenzio
Borsani, Tecno is an industrial company
with its own international marketing network,
with the aim of working together with
customers and specifies, to ensure that
Tecno's products and service are guaranteed
from project brief to implementation and
maintenance. |

The industrial company was orientated to
technological and formal innovation. Osvaldo
Borsani with Valeria and Marco Fantoni in the
Centro Progetti Tecno gave the official
signature of the company: the products which
shine for the quality of design, material and
excellent craftsmanship. |
Centro Progetti Tecno is the coaching force of
the company, understanding not only
architectural demands for the work places but
build Gae Aulenti , Emilio Ambasz ,
Ricardo Bofill , Sir Norman Foster, Eugenio
Gerli , Sir Richard Rogers , Luca Scacchetti ,
Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
The most recent acquisitions to "Tecno
team" are two young designers, Jonathan
Crionion and Justus Kolberg.

Tecno's products can therefore be found in
some of hte most prestigious design
collections in the world, such as MOMA
in New York and in San
Francisco, Victoria & Albert Museum
in London, Centre Georges Pompidou
in Paris, Neue Sammlung in Munich,
Musée des Arts Décoratifs in
Montréal and Triennale
in Milan.
In 1996 Tecno spa has acquired the trademark
and licence to produce and sell some of the Marcatré
products.
